Catalyst Building ground breaking - August 8
Wednesday, August 8, 2018
Join Avista, McKinstry, Katerra, Eastern Washington University and others as we break ground on the Catalyst Building.
Spokane will soon be home to its first net zero energy building. Construction is set to begin on the Catalyst Building, a 159,000 square-foot innovation hub that will serve as the south landing for pedestrians using the University District Gateway Bridge. Please join us August 8 in Spokane’s University District as Avista Development, McKinstry, Katerra and Eastern Washington University and other partners break ground on this mass timber building.
Food trucks will be provided and guests will hear from several fundamental partners on their vision for the Catalyst Building and their vision for Spokane's South University District.
Catalyst Building construction officially begins in late August. The building is expected to open in April 2020.
