UW-GU partnership wins medical ed innovation award

The Association of American Medical Colleges has named the UW School of Medicine-Gonzaga University Regional Health Partnership as the 2017 recipient of its Group on Regional Medical Campuses Star of Educational Innovation award. The partnership was chosen for the award for its A Daily Dose of Humanities program, which incorporates art, music, and literature into medical education to prepare students to connect compassionately with patients.
