Laboratory Spokane and Spark Central are up to no good again, with a 3 session workshop series on creative coding! Join Laboratory director Alan Chatham and learn how to harness the power of code to make awesome, interactive visuals. No previous coding experience is necessary, so it's also a great way to learn programming fundamentals in an artistic way.
We'll be using the free coding environment Processing, which is used by creative coders all over the world for everything from music videos to massive art installations. Class will be stuctured as a mix of learning and practicing, so it'll be a fun chance to play around with code. After all, why bother with sunny summer evenings when you could be looking at a computer screen instead.
