Gonzaga’s Annual Senior Art Exhibition on Display through May 13

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University’s annual Senior Art Exhibition, which runs through May 13 at the Richmond Art Collective, includes a free public walk-through with the artists from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 6. The exhibition highlights the work of Gonzaga’s graduating seniors in the art department.

The student artists with prints, drawings, paintings and ceramics featured in the exhibition are: Abigale Anderson, Mead, Washington; Emily Dittig, Bellevue, Washington; Bridget Eastwood, San Diego, California; Natalie Hoebing, Scottsdale, Arizona; Charlie Kittridge, Duvall, Washington; Lucia Lecce, Richmond, California; Elaina Pignolet, Sandpoint, Idaho; Carley Schmidt, Yakima, Washington; Alyssa Severson, Portland, Oregon; Madeline Sloan, Oroville, California; and MiLinda Smith of Spokane.

For the first time in art department history, the exhibition is being held off campus at the Richmond Art Collective (228 W. Sprague Ave.), which was formed in 2013 in response to growing local interest in mixed-use spaces. It has since attracted local and national artists from various disciplines.

Exhibitions at the Richmond Art Collective are free and open to the public Monday from 7 a.m.- 3p.m., Tuesday-Friday 7 a.m.- 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.- 6 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m.-noon.
