New UW Spokane Medical Students Receive White Coats

Monday, September 5, 2016

Surrounded by a crowd of 250 faculty, friends and family members, forty UW School of Medicine students training in Spokane as part of the five-state WWAMI program were robed in White Coats during a special ceremony to mark their transition from preclinical to clinical health studies and readiness to interact with patients.  The Friday night event in Spokane was one of six ceremonies held recently by WWAMI partners in Seattle, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho to robe 246 students with white coats.
