Chancellor DeWald Elected to serve on Executive Committee for Life Sciences Washington

Dr. Daryll DeWald, executive vice president for WSU Health Sciences and chancellor of WSU Spokane, was elected to serve on the executive committee for Life Sciences Washington beginning January 2023.
Life Sciences Washington is a membership and advocacy organization representing over 500 life sciences organizations across the state. With a vision of Washington at the forefront of global life science innovation, LSW advocates for policies that support a strong and vibrant life science industry.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. DeWald to the Life Science Washington Board & Executive Committee,” said Marc Cummings, President & CEO, Life Science Washington. “WSU Health Sciences is a foundational pillar of Washington’s life science infrastructure. Dr. DeWald’s deep knowledge of scientific research, education partnerships, and university leadership will be invaluable to our mission of continuing to build one of the strongest statewide life science ecosystems in the county.”
As a member of the executive committee for LSW, DeWald will join 11 experienced leaders from a range of life-science-connected industries passionate about improving and saving lives.
