Artists: Saranac Art Projects is pleased to present Deep Looking; a group exhibition highlighting the works of high school students and artists from the Inland Northwest, Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Washington’s Coastal Regions, & Northern California. Featured artists – Spokane Valley High School, Posie Kalin, Daniela Molnar, Elly Smith, Mary Welcome, Mandee Schroer, Anna Czoski, Owen Lindsey, & Shawn Trail.
Description: Deep Looking brings together the work of established artists with youth participating in a community arts program led by Spokane based artist Posie Kalin. Together, these artists seek to encourage self-awareness and a deeper connection with the natural world through a ‘relational ecology’- enriching our understanding and respect for nature through the process of collective artmaking.
