Spokane-based startup Spiceology is the fastest growing spice company in the country and the women who lead this PNW brand are definitely bringing unique flavor to the startup scene. Co-Founder Heather Scholten (aka Mama Spice) isn't just a flavor creator, but also a car aficionado and retired professional clown. From swimming to sailing to diving, CFO Brenda Bening, loves all things aquatic. Maria Emmer-Aanes, VP of Retail & Grocery Sales, serves on the Numi Foundation Board to provide clean drinking water around the globe. While not a pro-chef like so many at Spiceology, VP of Channels and Distribution Darby McLean is famous for making the best team lunches for her kids sports teams. And, Jeanne Ryan, VP of Marketing brings the global flavor having worked on five continents in her previous advertising careers.

Ignite Talks enlightens entrepreneurs through a series of interviews featuring successful entrepreneurs, qualified experts on how to scale effectively and active institutional investors. Find Ignite's program schedule at ignitenorthwest.com.
