Northwest Entrepreneur Competition (NEC) - April 15 virtual event

Thursday, April 15, 2021

The Northwest Entrepreneur Competition (NEC) is one of the largest and longest standing entrepreneurial events in the Inland Northwest. For over 15 years, the Northwest Entrepreneur Competition has welcomed between 60-100 student teams from over 10 higher education institutions and regional high schools to compete, receive feedback, and ultimately improve their odds at entrepreneurial success.

As a collaborative, community organized event, the NEC is managed by North Idaho College, the Spokane University District, and a large group of community judges, sponsors, and that value and support entrepreneurship in the Inland Northwest and beyond.

Join us for the virtual competition finals on April 15.

THE NORTHWEST ENTREPRENEUR COMPETITION SEEKS TO:

  • Provide students and their teams with constructive feedback and encouragement to proceed with building a sustainable enterprise based on their submitted business plan.

  • Be a competitive and compelling launch pad for student teams who wish to continue on the regional and national business plan circuit.

  • Create businesses that will directly benefit the Inland Northwest region through increased economic impact and employment opportunities.
