Empire Health Foundation names president

The Empire Health Foundation has named Portland, Oregon, native Zeke Smith to serve as the organization's president, starting Oct. 1. Smith most recently served as vice president of programs for FoodCorps, a national nonprofit dedicated to connecting kids to healthy food in schools. EHF is a private health foundation in Spokane with philanthropic assets of approximately $80 million.
