DSP's Elizabeth Hooker selected as one of Journal of Business' 2020 Rising Stars - Virtual Event Sept 10

The Journal of Business has selected 10 Spokane-area young professionals as its 2020 class of Rising Stars. 

Those future leaders will be honored at a virtual event on Sept. 10.

This year’s honorees include five women and five men, all of whom are under 40 years old and work in the Inland Northwest.

Women in this year’s class are Natasha Hill, attorney at Natasha L. Hill PS; Elisabeth Hooker, marketing and programming director at Downtown Spokane Partnership; Rochelle Marsh, chief financial officer at Multifab Corp.; Alia Russell, casino operations manager at Kalispel Casino; and Amy Sargent, director of provider services at MultiCare Health System.

Men to be recognized this year are Joel Barbour, owner and creative director of The Great PNW; DaShawn Bedford, production manager at Community-Minded Enterprises; Jason Boudreau, owner of Drive509 truck driving school; Toby Broemmeling, executive director of the West Plains Chamber of Commerce; and Joe Gellatly, co-founder and CEO of Medcurity Inc.

This year’s honorees were selected by Journal newsroom staff from nearly 90 nominations received from readers in recent weeks.

They mark the seventh class of Rising Stars selected to be spotlighted by the Journal.
