WSU is Committed to Supporting Communities During COVID

Tuesday, May 26, 2020

WSU campuses across the state look a lot different today than they did in the fall. Students and faculty have transitioned to online learning environments for the time being and many staff members are working from home. Although students and staff may not be as visible on campus, the WSU Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) continues to support communities and organizations like yours. Please let us know if there are ways the CCE can support you during this time. Here are a few ideas:

  • Volunteer recruitment – Let us help you post volunteer opportunities and community events in GivePulse. The platform is not limited to students!
  • Hosting a supply drive? Let us help you build it out using the new GivePulse Donation Drive Tool so you can save time and stay organized.
  • Development of virtual and remote engagement opportunities - The CCE  can help find a way to make it work.
  • Tag the CCE in your social media campaigns and we will promote it. @wsucce
  • Want GivePulse Training? The CCE can provide 1:1 GivePulse training for your organization via Zoom. Schedule training today.

If you have other ideas or just want to brainstorm with the CCE about how we can support you, contact Community Partnerships Coordinator, Ryan Lazo, at ryan.lazo@wsu.edu or 509.335.0687.
