Thursday, April 23, 2020

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress with overwhelming, bipartisan support and signed into law by the President on March 27th, 2020.  This over $2 trillion economic relief package provides fast and direct economic assistance for American workers, families, and small businesses, and preserves jobs for our American industries.

In Spokane County, the community is projected to receive approximately $90 million in relief revenue to support economic recovery. Spokane County commissioners want to hear from local residents and businesses on how they believe the money could best be spent to improve our community.

On the link below, please provide contact information and a brief description of your recommendation on how and where you believe CARES Act funding should be spent in Spokane County.
