5th Annual Logan Block Party - September 7

Saturday, September 7, 2019

Dear Neighbor:

Everyone who lives, learns, works or worships in Logan Neighborhood is invited to join the fun at the 5th Annual Logan Neighborhood Block Party!  We gather this year on Saturday, September 7th from noon to 3pm on the grounds of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic School at 611 E. Mission. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a few hours meeting your neighbors and learning about the community we share.

There will be activities for folks of all ages – music, games, all-ages kids’ center, food, hoops, prize drawings, displays by local businesses and more!

How can you get involved?

  • Businesses and organizations are invited to set up displays about your company or service.  You are welcome to share information and gather information from attendees.  Unfortunately, no sales are permitted at the event.  You can reserve a table for $15 at www.gonzaga.edu/logansponsors. Contact Mary Joan Hahn at 313-6095 or hahn@gonzaga.edu if you have questions or need additional information.
  • Share information about the event with neighbors you serve.
  • Donate an item for the prize drawing – a gift certificate (any amount), a Logan memento or souvenir would be most appropriate. Prizes will be given to community members through drawings, as well as for participating in Block Party activities. Prizes must be received by August 30th. Call Bailley Wootton at 313-6821 to arrange for pick-up.
  • Help Sponsor the event with a cash or in-kind donation. Your contribution will be recognized on signage and announcements made at the event. You can donate at www.gonzaga.edu/logansponsors.
  • Volunteer to help in planning and running the event.  Contact Bailley Wootton at wootton@gonzaga.edu or 313-6821 to get involved.

Join the fun!  Plan to spend a few hours with the neighbors who make up Logan. Explore the services, programs and businesses that are part of our neighborhood.

This year’s Block Party organizers include: Logan Neighborhood Council, Gonzaga University, Zag Dining by Sodexo, Gonzaga Student Body Association and many community partners.

If you have questions, contact Bailley Wootton at wootton@gonzaga.edu or 313-6821.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Thank you,
Your Logan Neighborhood Block Party Planning Team
