CougsFirst! show at Davenport Grand - April 18

Greetings Friends of WSU Spokane!

April 18 will be a great day for Spokane Cougs. That day, the CougsFirst! show will take place at the Davenport Grand Hotel from 4 - 8 p.m. WSU President Kirk Schulz will give the Keynote Address at 3 p.m. prior to the show. This is the second year in a row that CougsFirst! is hosting a show in Spokane, and we couldn't be more excited!

Earlier that day at 10 a.m., Spokane Mayor David Condon will proclaim April 18 "CougsFirst! Day" and will raise the WSU flag above City Hall. I encourage you all to attend any or all of these events that day and celebrate Washington State University. It's free to attend.

CougsFirst! is a business network that encourages WSU alumni to do business with Cougar-owned and Cougar-supporting businesses. The CougsFirst! show on April 18 will feature a wide variety of businesses. Perhaps one or more will be of interest to you or your organization.

While the event is a great opportunity to network with fellow Cougs and learn about the university's past year, this is not exclusive to WSU or WSU alumni. Everybody is welcome. President Schulz and other WSU administrators will be in town for this occasion. Stop by and say hi!

Last year, our health sciences campus had a booth and got to meet all sorts of people. We've accomplished a lot in the past year and have big plans for the future, so stop by and learn about our past year and what's coming down the road.
