New home for Joya Child & Family Development

Joya Child & Family Development has purchased property in Spokane’s North University District for a new home that will double its capacity, see this link for more info and renderings. A ground breaking is scheduled for March 31, 2021.

For nearly 60 years, through the ingenuity, passion, and commitment of its staff and leaders, Joya has delivered the highest quality care to children ages 0-3 and their families through personalized treatment and support, early intervention programs, therapeutic play, and natural environments.

The new two-story, 42,000-square-foot facility at 1016 N. Superior, next to the Spokane River and Centennial Trail, in the University District. Bouten Construction Co., of Spokane, is the contractor for the $18.5 million project. NAC Architecture, of Spokane, is the designer.
