Life Science Innovation Northwest conference brings together investors, public and private life science organizations, research institutions, scientists, entrepreneurs, and the global health community to discuss and feature some of the most compelling technological breakthroughs of our time.

Dr. Thomas J. Lynch Jr, President and Director, Fred Hutch will deliver the opening keynote address on Thursday, July 16: What will it take to further reduce death from cancer in 2030?
 
His presentation will review recent progress in cancer mortality using lung cancer as an example and will examine the factors driving the progress to date.  Dr. Lynch will also focus on advancements in precision medicine, immune-oncology, cell therapy, enhanced screening, and early detection that will be needed to make even more progress by 2030.
