EWU wins National Geographic grant

The EWU Department of Geography and Anthropology has won a National Geographic grant to foster geographic education in K-12 schools. Working with teachers all over the state, our faculty are collecting resources to help integrate geographic content into classrooms. A highlight of the collection is the 'Giant Map,’ an 18x22 foot map of Washington that travels on loan from school to school.
