EWU President's Dialogues on Diversity Series

Wednesday, March 8, 2017

CHENEY, Washington - The Eastern Washington University campus community gathered on Monday, March 6, for the second installment of the EWU President's Dialogues on Diversity in Hargreaves Hall.

The event featured a panel discussion on the topic of Islamophobia. Panelisists discussed steps we can take to ensure that our campuses are safe learning environments for all people, regardless of culture or religion.

A recording of the discussion can be viewed by visiting EWU 24/7.

EWU President Mary Cullinan started the dialogue series as a way to foster campus discussions on diversity, inclusion and understanding.

Each event includes panel presentations from both EWU internal community members and the larger external community. Participants will also be invited to engage in small group discussion at their tables.

The first session on Jan. 30 focused on community policing.
