Spokane life sciences leaders Velázquez and Ashe elected to Life Science Washington board

Susan Ashe and Francisco Velázquez, MD, SM both of Spokane, have been elected to the Life Science Washington (LSW) board of directors. Ashe is the executive director of Health Sciences & Services Authority (HSSA) of Spokane County, and Velázquez is president and CEO of Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories LLC and PAML Ventures.  

LSW is the premiere biomedical and biotechnology industry trade group in the Pacific Northwest. With a headquarters in Seattle, LSW's mission is to support and grow Washington state life sciences through: 

Advocacy - championing public policies and driving awareness to ensure life science organizations continue to grow and prosper in Washington state and beyond;

Collaboration - creating a community of diverse organizations and individuals to share ideas and creae new innovations; and
