EWU hosts big robotics competition

Eastern Washington University said the 2017 season of the FIRSTRobotics Competition will start at 7 a.m. Saturday at EWU's Showalter Hall in Cheney, WA. The event involves 30 teams of high school students and is one of 122 kickoff events planned worldwide. In all, more than 3,300 teams worldwide are expected to participate in the robotics competition this year.
