Avista, foundation make $500K-plus in donations

Avista Corp. said it and the Avista Foundation has made more than $500,000 in seasonal contributions to nearly 90 nonprofits in its Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Alaska service areas. About $215,000 of those donations went to Project Share, which provides one-time emergency energy assistance.
